Christmas day Dog killings in Kentucky. This is graphic. repost everywhere - YouTube

Another case where the dogs were running loose, even though they are family pets it is imperative that their owners look out for the potential risks dogs face when running free.  There is always a neighbor somewhere who hates dogs, or just likes to gleefully prove a point when dogs are unattended.

Raw Video: Dog Dies While Cop Detains Owners - YouTube

For those who love their doggies as much as any other member of the family, and at some point in time been guilty of driving 100MPH to get a beloved pet doggie to medical attention... these cops need to be schooled in how to handle this situation instead of continueing all this talk with the 'suspect', get the dog in the patrol car, turn on the syren, and speed A.S.A.P. to a veterinarian.

Cats Dissected at California High School | Care2 Causes

Quoting from article titled Cats Dissected at California High School And You Can See the Photos Online by Megan Drake, November 16, 2012 5:30 pm

"Animals like cats and dogs are often acquired by biological supply companies from shelters.  This means many of the animals used for dissection were strays and lost family pets.  It is often a greater advantage for the shelter to euthanize pets and sell them, instead of attempting to find the animals owners.  Shelters actually receives income when selling the animals and this also makes room for even more strays.  This is made possible thanks to local ordinances that only require shelters to hold found pets for as little as 24 hours to several days."
